Wunderbar Weite Welt in Eppstein

Simply delicious, something different than 08/15. The only small disadvantage in my opinion is the lack of card payment options. Otherwise 100% recommended without restriction :)

After our hike, the restaurant came in very handy. Nice flair in the old station building. Starter, main course and dessert were very tasty. And the staff was super courteous and friendly.

Young and older people meet here. Here you can spend a casual evening with or without live music, depending on the day of the week and the Corona situation. The hygiene rules are strictly observed. Between the tables there are e.g. Plastic disks. The snacks are delicious, sometimes Indian, sometimes with a Mexican touch. They go well with the wide range of drinks. On the walls there are pictures by artists from the area, whose exhibitions change again and again. You can also have breakfast or brunch here very well.

Overpriced wine of not too good quality. Bad ventilated rooms, unfriendly staff.

Possibly great as a cocktail bar. But the food was only average. The portions for this price are outrageous! With a starter plate for € 26.00 for 2 people, I expect the finest quality in appropriate quantities and not this lovelessly thrown together selection, which was sometimes not even homemade. Sorry! But an absolute absurdity. We are disappointed.

Nice ambience, good music, nice service and delicious food. Had the zucchini mince plate and loved it. Would definitely go again when I am around.

It was really nice again. Great atmosphere, delicious food and super nice service. And .... worth mentioning in these special times: very good hygiene concept, very careful. It was an all-round beautiful evening. Thank you.

Interesting food and unusual drinks, a very nice ambience with changing art exhibitions and small live concerts, mostly blues-rock, with a reduced number of guests and nice staff, that makes many regulars here. The only drawback: You can only pay in cash here.

Hmmm ... 😋I'm just saying how nice to be positively surprised again! On the way from our excursion in Rüdesheim back to Oberrad, I took a look at what's in between without driving on the motorway. Eppstein is beautifully situated on the way, and lo and behold, then this restaurant with the unusual name attracts me on google maps. The previous reviews aroused my interest even more and I was pleasantly surprised! The old station building stands on its own right on the track and with a beautiful view of the castle ruins, illuminated by the evening light! The menu is very varied and I didn't even know what to take ... It's good that there were three of us. So I could try from all the plates. Everything really excellent! Absolutely not off the shelf. Flavorful! And cheap for such quality! Everything is also very nicely done. The beautiful painted panels, the toilets are clean and pretty! Hopefully I'll be back soon!

Cozy, large beer garden in front of the old, converted train station, which I only knew from the inside. Friendly service, delicious breakfast .... Always happy ...

For the first time there on recommendation, at first the entrance is adapted to a train station, but one is surprised very positively. Very comfortable, attentive staff, delicious food (could have been a tick hotter ...) interesting decor with art. In the toilets I had to think longer, because the posters are in the majority and you only look at the fourth sees where male / female have to go Prices are ok, gladly come back.

I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain the chicken in my dish was the same seasoned chicken you buy at LIDL. It was also very salty.

Wunderbar Weite Welt ist wunderbar! Das Essen ist köstlich! Celebrated my birthday here while visiting my family (I live in the U.S.). The service was great and the staff was friendly and helpful with the menu offerings. I hope to celebrate future birthdays here. Or, just have a lemonade and dessert! (Which is what led me to come back for my birthday in the first place!)

I had my best times there. The food is really tasty and artistic. The atmosphere is super friendly and warm. It is great that always some events are going on. Even the art on the walls changes all the time. All in all shows me, they put heart in their restaurant and care about every details.Thank you for giving me nice experiences.

Whether for a nice breakfast or in the evening something delicious creative food or on a glass of wine- here I always feel new and well cared for.

As the name implies ... good, delicious breakfast, great ambience, interesting live events, friendly service. Recommended. I like to go back. Reserve recommended.

We visit about one a month. Always great

We had lunch here. Served runny eggs as a children's dish. Omelette was unsalted. Chicken was undercooked. Ranch style eggs done as though it was something overheard once on television. The restaurant itself is nice with a "kids corner". Semi kid friendly. Just got the impression that the cook doesn't really know how to cook. And it wasn't really full either.

My girlfriend and I had went on recommendation from family in the area. The atmosphere is great, the staff was very friendly (even with our poor tourist German), and the food was delicious. If find yourself in Eppstein and are hungry go here.

This recently-renovated restaurant in the upstairs level of the Eppstein Bahnhof (train station) offers a nice view of Eppstein and a unique menu, including Tex-Mex cusine. It has become popular for young families with small children because of its cozy atmosphere, and it offers excellent coffee & tea varieties along with delicious breakfast meals.

Nice destination by bike (and car of course, enough parking is available) Friendly service and really good food.

Great place. They offer life music. Most bands are from Tx.
